EncompassSM Linen Management Consulting
The Encompass SM Linen Management Consulting program is a comprehensive engagement designed to help hospitals and other healthcare
organizations identify opportunities to drive out cost from their textiles and related products using the principles of continuous quality improvement.
Since 1993, we have documented an estimated 27 million dollars in total linen system cost reductions with pragmatic solutions to the problems
associated with rising linen costs. The engagements are conducted by our dedicated team of regionally based, clinically educated Cost
Management Consultants, and feature tools that educate nurses and other hospital staff on the rational consumption of linen products, and
help linen managers analyze usage data against established baselines and industry national averages.
ExecutorTM Linen Management Software System
The ExecutorTM Linen Management Software System provides information necessary to make informed decisions concerning
utilization, inventory management, and product modifications. It tracks usage, inventories, and costs. As well, it provides par level
management to ensure that appropriate product quantities--not too little or too much--are stocked in each department.
Quality Assurance Linen Administration (QUALATM) Software System
The QUALATM Software System is a comprehensive, integrated management information system designed for laundries with mission-critical
applications, capable of handling high volumes of data quickly and efficiently.
QUALATM is fully modular, allowing the smooth integration of features such as piece tracking, sterilization control, and accounting
functions, including your accounts payable and receivables.
Managed Cost Programs
These programs are designed to align the incentives to reduce textile costs between the customer and Hospitex/Lintex by establishing a
capitated rate for replacement linen based on a hospitals prior textile expenditures. If textile replacement costs fall below this target, Hospitex/Lintex
and the customer share the savings. If costs exceed the target, each of us shares the added expense.
TecPak
The TecPak Consulting Program was designed as a way to help hospitals and healthcare laundries identify opportunities to drive down surgical
pack product costs though product standardization, product tracking, improved product utilization and improved operating efficiencies.
Our TecPak consulting team will conduct an analysis of your current reusable or disposable surgical pack system to evaluate current processes, products and clinical practices, and then offer detailed recommendations based on findings. TecPak is the only program in the industry to use dedicated clinical consultants that work with the customer to design the optimal combination of reusable and disposable pack components.
